  2. Congratulations! That's the latest in December I've heard of an SDA appointment. We had an appointment on December 12, 2007. We spent Christmas there. It will definitely be different than what you are used to;) It was minus 10 and 11 in the area we stayed in.

Ukrainians like celebrating their holidays. One good thing is that you will get to visit the orphanage while school is out. More time to see your child.

    Blessings,
    June

  3. Are you guys from Prescott? We're in Phoenix. Also Christians who adopted last year. If you need a place to sleep before an early AM flight, our guest room is open to you, and we'd be willing to drive you to the airport in the morning. In any case, safe travels!

  4. Brooke, we would love to see you there (if i had the abililty to bold this sentence i would)!! we'll have our labtop, and Charlie's phone, i'll make sure you have the number before you leave.

Hi June, we are expecting a cold Christmas! Certainly one that's colder than what we're used to here in AZ, could prove to be painful! :] But we're also looking forward to experiencing the Holidays there, and yes spending a large amount of time with Lena will definitley be a plus. At this moment i'm trying to figure out how to pack light as we've been instructed to do, not easy with bulking winter clothing... i seem to be living an oxymoron at the moment. :]

and McEacherns, thank you so much for the offer!! We do already have arrangements made for yes that early am flight, but what a wonderful gesture, it really is appreciated. We live in Peeples Valley, it's a small rural community that sits half way between Wickenburg and Prescott on Highway 89.

June and McEacherns, if you are facebook users, i would welcome you to look me up (Judy Sanner), would love to hear more about your adoptions!
